The Tampa Bay Rays 2024 Grapefruit League 29-game schedule is scheduled to begin on Saturday, February 24 at Pt. Charlotte against the Atlanta Braves.
All of the Rays' 29 games will be played against nine different teams – the Baltimore Orioles, Boston Red Sox, Detroit Tigers, New York Yankees, Minnesota Twins, Philadelphia Phillies, Pittsburgh Pirates, Atlanta Braves and Toronto Blue Jays.
The schedule features 13 games at the Rays’ spring training facility in Port Charlotte, Fla. The Rays’ Grapefruit League home opener is slated for Saturday, February 24 against the Atlanta braves. Tampa Bay will wrap up its spring schedule against the Detroit Tigers on Tuesday, March 26 in St. Pete.
The home games of the Tampa Bay Rays are played at The Charlotte County Sports Park at 2300 El Jobean Rd, Port Charlotte, FL.
The Park was renovated to the tune of some $28 Million to welcome the team to their new spring home starting in 2009.
So if you attend workouts or games, you'll be among those witnessing a recent rebirth of spring training in Port Charlotte as well as updated new digs for the team.
The facility had been without a team since the Texas Rangers left after the 2002 season.
Below Are Game tickets we were able to source.
The Rays are fortunate in that their spring training facility is located in their home state of Florida. It makes it easy for the local fans to come out to the old ball game during spring training season.
Make your plans to come out and see this year's new comers hoping to make the team along with returning Tampa Bay Rays as well as veterans.
There's nothing like watching spring training exhibition games while being able to work on your tan. Ah, Florida Spring Training!!
